Days Gone used to be just a PlayStation exclusive. Now, the post-apocalyptic motorcycle-riding zombie game will be coming to PC as well. It's not going to be a simple re-release on a new platform, though. Days Gone on the PC also arrives with a slew of new features and content. Here's everything you need to know about Days Gone PC release date and its new features.

DAYS GONE PC RELEASE DATE: MAY 18, 2021

Days Gone PC release date will be on May 18, 2021. With one month left until launch, there's still some time for Bend Studio to patch the game up. Sony fans will remember the disaster that was the Horizon Zero Dawn launch for PC last August 2020. Bend Studio won't want to follow suit in that regard.

Meanwhile, Days Gone PC version will have a lot of new features – mostly on improved graphics. Top of the list is its ability to run in 4K, so if you have a monitor that big then Days Gone will be perfect for you on the PC. It also gets ultrawide monitor support for those of you who don't have 4K monitors. The PC version also has unlocked framerate and more graphical fidelity for models, as well as longer draw distances. Mouse and Keyboard controls have also been added. Long story short: it has all the bells and whistles that a proper PC version needs to have.

With more PlayStation exclusive games arriving on PC like Horizon Zero Dawn and Death StrandingDays Gone is just the latest in what would be a long list of PlayStation exclusives on Windows. Sony's been notoriously stubborn when it comes to collaborating and ports until recent years. In fact, they've even gone as far as collaborating with Epic Games in bringing their characters to Fortnite. With Aloy now on Fortnite, will we also see Deacon St. John enter the Battle Royale Island as well?
