The Arizona Diamondbacks fought their way back from 2-0 and 3-2 series deficits to force a deciding Game 7 of the NLCS against the Philadelphia Phillies. A win puts the D-backs in their first World Series since winning it in 2001 while a loss would end Arizona's best season since 2007.

With that being said, the Diamondbacks come into the game with an “all hands on deck” approach, similar to that of the Phillies. Just as Philly's ace Zack Wheeler will be available, Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said that ace Zac Gallen will be an option out of the bullpen in Game 7, according to Jon Morosi.

Gallen started Game 5 opposite Wheeler on Saturday in Arizona, meaning both men would be pitching on two full days' rest if they were to enter Game 7. The Diamondbacks' All-Star hurler has been stung by the Phillies in two starts in this series, allowing nine runs and five home runs in 11 innings. Arizona lost both games that Gallen started.

Gallen has never appeared in relief in 115 MLB appearances. He had three appearances out of the bullpen in rookie ball back in 2016 after being drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals.

The Diamondbacks will roll with rookie Brandon Pfaadt to start on the mound in Game 7, while the Phillies deploy lefty Ranger Suarez. It's anybody's guess who Torey Lovullo and Rob Thomson bring into the game after their respective starters, but it's likely that everyone except for the Game 6 starters will be available Tuesday night.

Zac Gallen has struggled in the postseason but all of that can be erased if he plays a factor in a Diamondbacks pennant-clinching win on Tuesday.
