This is not the first time that Mookie Betts made a critical defensive play against the Braves. In Game 6, he snatched a potential RBI double from Marcell Ozuna. It kept the runners on base, eventually leading to a 3-1 victory for the Dodgers.
These feats are expected from Betts. He’s known to be a defensive stalwart. He’s a four-time Gold Glove Award winner. This season, he led all right fielders in defensive runs saved in the National League.
