In the days that have followed since Miami Dolphins made the decision to place the franchise tag onto star wide receiver Jarvis Landry, there has been constant trade chatter surrounding the situation. The team has made it clear that Landry can search for a new team via the trade market.

There have been a few teams that have already voiced their interest in acquiring the 25-year-old despite him holding a $16.2 million franchise tag for the 2018 season. According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, two of the teams that have spoken to Landry's agent about a possible trade have been the Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears.

“The Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears are among at least five teams to talk with Jarvis Landry's agent about a potential trade for the Pro Bowl receiver, according to a source.”

These two teams have been at the top of the list of teams reported as being interested in the last several days. During this past weekend, there was talk about the Dolphins proposing a swap for Pro Bowl running back Jordan Howard, but that discussion has quickly got shot down by the Bears. Although that offer has been put aside, it's clear that the two sides do have a desire to work something out.

Meanwhile, the Ravens have long made their interest in Landry known as the team had reportedly attempted to acquire him prior to the 2017 season and once again before the trade deadline. There was also the public push via social media by a pair of Baltimore players in safeties Tony Jefferson and Eric Weddle.

The price tag is quite lofty on Landry, but he has certainly shown to be one of the most talented players at his position. He is coming off another highly productive campaign where he had a career-high 112 catches for 987 receiving yards and a career-best nine touchdowns that earned him his third straight Pro Bowl selection. He also became quickest in league history to reach 400 career catches.
