The Miami Dolphins have a major need at the quarterback position and are reportedly very interested in NFL Draft prospect Drew Lock.

CBS Sports is reporting that various teams expressed interest in Lock after he showed what he was made of during Missouri's Pro Day.

First, the Miami Dolphins treated him to a steak dinner on Wednesday, and then, the New York Giants took him out to dinner last night.

In addition to the Dolphins and the Giants, the Broncos are rumored to be interested in the talented thrower, who is also said to be of franchise-caliber.

Obviously, Drew Lock and his performance at his Pro Day flies in the face of yesterday's neo-conventional wisdom, as postulated by Nick Bosa and his team, that performing at a Pro Day serves no purpose.

But thanks to his performance at the Pro Day, Lock is getting called one of the “hottest tickets” in the NFL today.

The 6-foot-3, 228-pound quarterback has a big frame and the arm to hit all of his throws, but he also has the athleticism and mobility to create and buy time when he needs to. Lock's Pro Day was tailored around that, showcasing his ability to make difficult throws look easy.

Lock let it fly in the Tigers' pro day on Thursday ahead of April's 2019 NFL Draft. He is currently the No. 3 ranked quarterback prospect and No. 18 ranked prospect overall. He's showing why he deserves to be right there with Dwayne Haskins and Kyler Murray as first-round picks for quarterback-needy teams.
