The Miami Dolphins were looking to recover from their disastrous opening game against the Baltimore Ravens. However, injuries to Reshad Jones and Albert Wilson seem to throw those hopes down the drain.

Barry Jackson confirmed that Brian Flores will likely be without key starters on either side of the football when they face off against the New England Patriots.

Jones, who underwent shoulder surgery in the offseason, is dealing with an ankle injury, while Wilson has a calf injury apart from the hip problem that's plagued him since last season.

These losses make the already-weak Dolphins roster even more fragile. In fact, their blowout loss disgusted some players so much that news leaked of several players asking for trades immediately.

There's also the issue with Minkah Fitzpatrick. The team and the player cannot agree on which position to use him on. The argument only emphasizes the level of organizational chaos the team is experiencing.

Jones has been a solid option for Miami ever since the team picked him up in 2010. He has notched 744 tackles, 21 interceptions for 361 yards, forced three fumbles and turned two of his seven fumble recoveries to TDs.

Meanwhile, Wilson has been a decent weapon for the offense. He caught 28 passes for 404 yards and four TDs last season and averaged 14.4 yards per reception.

Flores can only hope that his team can put up a fight against the Patriots this time around. However, it's likely that they will suffer another brutal blow with the loss of two key playmakers.
