Fans haven't had the warmest reception to some recent Star Wars projects, like the new sequel trilogy and Solo. The latter, of course, has an exception in the form of Donald Glover's portrayal of Lando Calrissian. But with news and updates on the rumored Disney+ series revolving around the former Baron Administrator of Cloud City staying silent, it wasn't exactly easy to be hyped up about the character's future. Well, that is until the actor gave some sort of hope on the said project.

In an interview by Jimmy Kimmel, the talk show host directly asked Glover about Lando Calrissian's status. Instead of turning the question down, the actor teased Kimmel and gave a rather vague reply.

“Am I? Just telling all my business. No, yeah, I have a lot of things. I like to blossom then go away. Right now is definitely the start of another one of those. I have like a ton of stuff I've been working on, but I just want it all to come out at the same time, so I feel like that's what's important,” Glover said when asked about the Star Wars project.

While the actor didn't give a clear answer to the question, the key detail to remember here is that Glover didn't categorically close the door on Lando Calrissian. As a matter of fact, this reply can serve as a subtle tease that will slowly snowball into a massive orb of hype for the rumored Star Wars series on Disney+

Although Solo: A Star Wars Story failed to meet expectations, Glover's portrayal of a young Lando can succeed and help the franchise correct one of its most notable misfires in recent memory. At the same time, it can also open doors for Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra to return and finish her part in the story as well.

In any case, Glover's recent tease on Lando Calrissian is definitely better than nothing. And while there's no official news yet on this project, the Star Wars faithful will still have Obi-Wan to look forward to when it premieres very soon on Disney+.
