With EA College Football 25 set to include 0ver 10,000 real athletes, we're wonder if they plan to introduce a 99 Club – similar to the Madden NFL Franchise – that features the best rated players. Earlier this week, we made our predictions for the 99 Club Contenders for Madden 25. Now, we'd like to take a look at College Football 25, and identify a few players that we believe deserve the highest ratings. Bear with us now, as making a short list of players from over 130 schools to choose from is not the easiest task.

Predicting The Best Player Ratings In EA College Football 25 – 99 Club

We believe the following players could receive the highest OVRs in EA Sports College Football:

  • Carson Beck, QB – Georgia Bulldogs
  • Will Campbell, OT – LSU Tigers
  • Will Johnson, CB – Michigan Wolverines
  • Ollie Gordon II, RB – Oklahoma State Cowboys
  • Mason Graham, DT – Michigan Wolverines

Why Georgia Bulldogs' QB Carson Beck Deserves a Spot In The EA College Football 25 99 Club

Although Quinn Ewers is the cover athlete, we believe Carson Beck has a stronger case to make the EA College Football 99 club. Beck threw over 3,900 passing yards (third-best in the league) with a TD:INT ratio of 4:1. Additionally, he's extremely accurate, coming off a season where he completed 72.4% of his passes. Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs still have the talent to win another National title, and Beck will be there to hopefully lead his offense to the finish line.

Why LSU Tigers' OT Will Campbell Deserves a Spot In The EA College Football 25 99 Club

At 6′ 6″ and 320 lbs, Will Campbell is the best offensive tackle in College Football right now. Furthermore, he allowed zero sacks across 470 snaps in 2023. Efficient as both a run and pass blocker, Will Campbell is a generational talent at his position. The LSU running game in Dynasty Mode should be fun with stars like Will on the line. Overall, he makes a great candidate for the 99 OVR Club.

Why Michigan Wolverines' CB Will Johnson Deserves a Spot In The EA College Football 25 99 Club

The Wolverines' defense was the driving defense behind the team's National Championship run last season. Much of the credit belongs to shut down corner Will Johnson. The Wolverines defense impressively only allowed 9.5 points per game last year, and it's thanks to players like Johnson. Should he continue to play well, we expect him to be the first cornerback selected in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Why Oklahoma State Cowboys' RB Ollie Gordon II Deserves a Spot In The EA College Football 25 99 Club

Perhaps this is forced, but Ollie Gordon II's impressive 2023 season shouldn't be overlooked so easily. Gordon led all of College Football last year in rushing yards (1,732), and ranked second in touchdowns (21). In 14 games last year, Gordon recorded over 120 rushing yards in over half of them. He even eclipsed 270+ rushing yards in back-to-back game last year. Expect him to be a dominant workhorse back in College Football 25.

Why Michigan Wolverines' DT Mason Graham Deserves a Spot In The EA College Football 25 99 Club

Lastly, we snuck in another Wolverines' player, and this time it was DT Mason Graham. Again, Graham is one of multiple talented defensive players who will continue to thrive, even without Jim Harbaugh. Pro Football Focus ranks him as the #1 interior defensive lineman in the 2024 season, and for good reason, too. We'll see he and the defense can replicate similar results in 2024.

Will College Football 25 Have a 99 Club?

Currently, we do not know if College Football 25 will feature a 99 Club. However, based on previous titles, it's definitely possible. Reddit user Fit-Maintenance7397 compiled a list of all NCAA 14 players rated 88 OVR or higher. Overall, only one player in the entire game had a 99 OVR, which was Jadeveon Clowney (or South Carolina RE #7). Therefore, it's conceivable that a lucky player (or more) may receive the highest possible player rating the game has to offer.

Overall, that includes our favorite candidates for EA College Football 25's best player ratings. We anticipate the real player rating reveals as we approach the game's launch date in July!
