During the Philadelphia Eagles divisional round win over the New York Giants, wide receiver A.J. Brown was spotted on the sideline looking frustrated. On Wednesday, the star pass catcher spoke on what took place, and the overall mentality of wide receivers on the field.

“They throw the ball to me 100 times, I'm going to want it 101 times. Me personally, I just feel like I can change the game at any moment. Getting the ball often keeps you going, keeps you in a rhythm. It definitely puts you in a zone; you're locked in. Of course I want the ball.” stated A.J. Brown according to ESPN’s Tim McManus.

Brown also spoke about the “diva” title that is often placed upon wide receivers.

“I'm never the receiver to go on the sideline or try to cause problems on the sideline. I'm not that guy. I think that's what you could describe as a diva, but I'm not that person.” said Brown.

In his first season with the Eagles, A.J. Brown has been a star on the offense. He finished the regular season recording 88 receptions for 1,496 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns on 145 total targets.

As the Eagles took on the Giants last week, A.J. Brown struggled to find success on the field. He finished the game with just three receptions for 22 receiving yards on six total targets.

A.J. Brown has been a crucial playmaker within the Eagles offense. When they take on the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship, they will once again need him to stuff the stat sheet.
