The expectation has been that the Philadelphia Eagles will move on from Nick Foles this offseason and after Doug Pederson's comments on Monday morning, it would be shocking if Foles was with the team next year. Appearing on 94WIP on Monday morning for the final team this season Pederson thanked Nick Foles for everything he did during his time with the Eagles.

“I can't say enough good things about Nick,” Pederson said in his final conversation with Angelo Cataldi of the season.

“For him to come here and be the backup behind Carson and then to do the things he's done the last two years, like I said I can't thank him enough. He's a pro's pro. He's a great human being, great leader in the locker room. He'll always be remembered in Philadelphia for bringing a Super Bowl to this city. So, a lot of great things for him and we've got these next few weeks, few months to make some tough decisions, but we'll make them at that point.”

After the game, Foles seemed to say goodbye to the city of Philadelphia thanking them for everything they have given him during his time with the team. it still seems like a tough decision to make but time and time again Pederson has said that Carson Wentz is still the quarterback of the future.

In each of the last two years, Foles has had to come in late in the season and help lead the team to playoff success. This year the team fell short of the Super Bowl but no matter where Foles ends up, he will always be the guy who led the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory.
