The Philadelphia Eagles just can't have anything go their way. Head coach Nick Sirianni announced that Jalen Hurts is dealing with an ankle injury.

Sirianni said that the Eagles quarterback is nursing a sore ankle he suffered during Sunday's loss to the Giants. It could impact his availability for their Week 13 contest versus the New York Jets.

This is a tough blow for the Eagles as their offense has already looked pitiful at times. On Sunday against the Giants, they were only able to put up seven points as Jalen Hurts went 14-31 for only 129 yards and added three interceptions.

Obviously, an injury is never what an organization wants. This could help the Eagles recognize that they need to give Miles Sanders the ball more as he can open up their offense. He has shown that with the limited touches that he has gotten this season.

Philadelphia still has a chance of making the playoffs, but it's going to be tough for them. They are two and a half games behind the first-place Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East.

If Philadelphia wants any chance to make the playoffs, they're going to have to win the majority of the remaining games. Having Jalen Hurts not be there is definitely not something that the Eagles were hoping for. It is unclear if Hurts is going to be out for an extended period of time.
