Another second-generation NFL player will be playing in the league for the upcoming season. Jalen Reagor, son of former NFL defensive end Montae Reagor, will be boosting the Philadelphia Eagles' already deadly offensive attack. The team has agreed to terms with the 21st overall pick to the tune of a four-year, $13 million rookie contract.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport disclosed the Eagles' latest signing on Twitter:

The 21-year old rookie had a productive college career for the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs. He amassed a total of 2,248 receiving yards, 148 receptions to go with 25 touchdowns scored in his three-year tenure with the team. He was also hailed as the Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and became a two-time member of the second-team All-Big 12.

Reagor will be joining a handful of new recruits in star cornerback Darius Slay, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and back-up quarterback Jalen Hurts to power the Eagles to a deeper playoff run in the upcoming season.

The team clinched the NFC East division with a 9-7 record last season. The Dallas Cowboys weren't far behind in second place with an 8-8 record. The Philly-based team went on to have an early exit in the playoffs as they were knocked off by the Seattle Seahawks in a 17-9 losing effort on their home turf.

With the recent moves made by the team in the offseason, 2020 is looking like a bounce-back season for Philly's beloved team. The Eagles will be traveling to the nation's capital as they take on the Washington Redskins for the first game of the upcoming season. The game is slated on September 13 at the FedEx Field in Maryland.
