The Philadelphia Eagles are struggling against the New York Giants. To make things worse, they may have lost Lane Johnson to a leg injury.

NBC Sports' Derrick Gunn was one of the first analysts to report about the situation.

John Clark, Gunn's colleague, provided more details as the offensive lineman was walking to the medical tent.

Johnson wouldn't return to the game as he was deemed unfit to continue playing.

This injury is a blow to the Eagles' hopes of remaining relevant in the NFC playoffs race. They have a 5-7 record, and are already struggling against the New York Giants. Without their first-choice lineman in the O-line, it seems like a miracle can only turn their fortunes around at this point.

Johnson has missed three games already this season, but this important match is one he'll surely regret not being able to play in.
