Before getting into the Fantasy Football special for the 2019 NFL Season, the Establish the Pass Podcast quickly discusses the crushing injury to Derwin James, the never-ending Antonio Brown drama, the feud that wasn’t between Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones, and Jaylon Smith’s extension.
Then we dove into our fantasy football primer, covering our Tier 1 players at each position, breakout candidates, under-the-radar sleepers, overhyped sleepers, most underrated players based on ADP (especially quarterbacks or receivers who are either throwing to or catching passes from guys with deservedly high ADPs themselves), most overrated players based on ADP (including… Patrick Mahomes), players who will gain the most targets/touches in 2019, players who will lose the most targets/touches in 2019, and finally one player we will each regret taking in our own fantasy football drafts, as well as players we will regret not drafting.
Lastly, we review Achilles heels for possible Super Bowl contenders, limiting it to six teams from each conference (from the NFC, we discuss the New Orleans Saints, Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Green Bay Packers. For the AFC, we went over the New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, and… the Cleveland Browns!)
