The Atlanta Falcons already made some significant changes to their roster this offseason. It appears that will not be the only changes this team makes ahead of 2020 NFL season.
The Falcons took to Twitter to unveil their new uniforms after initially stating they would do so next week:

It has been nearly two decades since the Falcons last made adjustments to their uniforms. Although the team is still in the midst of a grueling rebuild, it seems they felt it was the perfect time to usher in a new era with the start of the 2020 campaign.
The new threads are similar to that of the team's 1960s throwback jerseys. The retro jerseys are considered to be a fan favorite and it appears the team may have put an emphasis on modernizing this look.
The Falcons will debut their update threads at the 2020 NFL Draft this month. Although the league has indicated that that draft will be held remotely due to the coronavirus pandemic, they should still have plenty of TV time to show off the new look once they are on the board with the 16th overall pick.
While the Falcons may have experienced some turnover at key positions this offseason, the additions of former Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley and outside linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. in free agency will give fans two more star players to pick from for their new jersey collection. Of course, it is safe to say that they are still more concerned with this team bouncing back from their 7-9 finish during the 2019 campaign.
