Fall Guys developers Mediatonic struck a good deal with Konami, publishers of Bomberman games. To promote the release of the new free-to-play battle royale game Super Bomberman R Online, the beans and the bombers will crossover on each others' games. Fall Guys will receive the classic Bomberman skin starting June 4, 2021. The Bomberman Skin will be available for just 10 Crowns, allowing you to cosplay as the iconic character for cheap. Meanwhile, the Fall Guys pink bean boy will also feature as a playable character in Super Bomberman R Online. When playing as the bean boy, players can dive across the map, a really nifty move for a game about dodging explosions.

You can download Super Bomberman R Online on Steam or Google Stadia. The game aims to recapture the magic of games like Tetris 99 and Super Mario Bros. 35. The gameplay marries classic Bomberman gameplay with battle-royale elements. In a way, it's similar to Fall Guys for having a battle-royale focus. However, fans think that this marriage should probably end up with an annulment. Currently, the game has a very low approval rating on Steam. One of the biggest complaints by players is the way how playing with friends is locked behind a paywall. Many also complain about how slow the game loads. Regardless, Super Bomberman R Online is worth a try at least once. It's free-to-play, anyway. The new Fall Guys bean boy character's also a great incentive to try out the game, at least for Fall Guys fans.
However, it seems like the experience is only marred by poor porting on PC. The Google Stadia version of the game is well-celebrated with a score of 80 on Metacritic.
