Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is finally headed to Steam, and it's said to be optimized for the handheld device Steam Deck.

The PC version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade came out exclusively on the Epic Games Store last December. Now, the next-gen version of FF7R is headed to Steam as well. Apart from heading to Steam, the game is also advertised to be Steam Deck compatible. The game is out now on Steam and is offered at a discounted 29% rate.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is the next-gen upgraded version of FF7R, and also comes with the INTERmission DLC that introduced and focused on Yuffie Kisaragi. FF7R launched on PC to disappointing results as the game was marred with technical issues. Patches have been released since then to help mitigate the issues, and hopefully, the Steam release would indeed be the optimized version of the game with fewer bugs and glitches.

Thankfully, Steam has a stringent vouching system that confirms if games really do work well with the Steam Deck. The Steam Deck Verified badge tells players that the game is optimized or designed for the Steam Deck in mind, and FF7 Remake Intergrade has this badge. If you ever wanted to play FF7R Intergrade on the go, then this is finally your chance. If you have a Steam Deck, that is.
