Former NBA player and 11-year veteran, Travis Outlaw, has been arrested on a felony marijuana charge.
The indictment stated that on July 15, Outlaw “did unlawfully, willfully, feloniously, knowingly and intentionally possess a controlled substance, marijuana, in an amount greater than 250 grams but less than 1 kilogram.”
It was reported that he turned himself in and was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
The 31-year-old last played in the NBA in the 2013-2014 season, appearing in 63 games for the Sacramento Kings. He spent a total of eleven seasons in the league and has played for three other teams, the Los Angeles Clippers, Washington Wizards, New Jersey Nets, and the Portland Trailblazers, which drafted him 23rd overall in the 2003 draft straight out of high school.
He owns career averages of 8.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 0.8 assists in 20.9 minutes per game.
