The Game Awards 2021 is one of the most prestigious events in the gaming industry this year. TGA 2021 celebrates what the industry has achieved this year and gives recognition to the best games and workers within the industry. But of course, it's also a great place for developers and publishers to showcase their upcoming works. Some would even announce their games in this event. While we don't know yet which games will be announced and what kind of announcements we'll be getting for games that have already been revealed, we can still speculate. Here are 10 game announcements we want to see in TGA 2021.

10 Game Announcements we want to see in TGA 2021

Elden Ring

Of course, we can't get enough of Elden Ring. The next game to come out of FromSoftware will definitely be an instant contender for Game of the Year. With all of the previews we've seen so far, it's hard not to get excited. We've already seen a lot of Elden Ring and even had the opportunity to play some of it. Still, we just can't get enough of it. We just can't wait for Elden Ring to come out, but in the meantime, if FromSoftware can still reveal anything new about Elden Ring, then we're all game. Collector's Edition reveal, perhaps?

Bioshock 4

There's a lot of buzz about Bioshock 4/Bioshock Isolation recently, and we're really looking forward to seeing more about this game soon. While the leaks indicate that the game won't be revealed until next year, there's still a chance that it will officially be revealed during TGA 2021. However, rumors also say that the studio has felt the cold feet and decided to move their reveal to Q1 2022, but perhaps a tease during TGA 2021 wouldn't be too much to ask for?

Dragon Age 4

While there is a lot of bad news swirling around for Dragon Age 4 recently, we still want to hear more about Bioware's next outing. It's been a long time since the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, and it's just about time that we head back for more adventure.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Remake

One of the most pleasant surprises to come out this year is the announcement of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake. It was only teased during the PlayStation Showcase a few months back, with not a lot of details about the game made public yet. TGA 2021 is the perfect place for developers Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games to put out new information about this highly-anticipated remake, and we do hope to see it happen.

Spider-Man 2

Also teased during the PlayStation Showcase, the sequel to Insomniac Games is exciting because it appears to let players switch between Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Double the Spideys mean more the fun, twice the story content, and double the players! Or so we hope, which is why we'd like Insomniac Games to give us more information when TGA 2021 arrives.

Wolverine

Alongside the new Spider-Man 2 game, Insomniac Games also revealed a new Wolverine game. The cinematic trailer didn't give too much away about the new game, which is why we want to hear more about it when the time comes.

The Elder Scrolls 6

Ever since Microsoft's acquisition of ZeniMax Studios, PlayStation players have been in misery. While Microsoft maintains that their acquisition of Bethesda's parent company shouldn't necessitate that all of their games will only come out exclusively on their platforms, all clues point towards Bethesda, at the very least, prioritizing The Elder Scrolls optimization on the Xbox Series X. On behalf of PlayStation 5 owners everywhere, we do hope that the game still finds its way to the PS5. In the meantime, we'd still love to hear more about The Elder Scrolls 6 in the TGA 2021.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2

While most likely this won't happen outside of Nintendo's own showcases, we still think that Nintendo will benefit a lot if they revealed some new things about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 on a stage as big as TGA 2021. Would it sell more Nintendo Switch consoles? Definitely. And besides, even on Nintendo's own showcase, we don't get to hear a lot of things about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, and it's just about time for them to reveal more about what they have up their sleeves.

Starfield

Starfield is another upcoming Bethesda game that we anticipate a lot. In true Todd Howard fashion, Starfield is hyped up by Bethesda to be a major breakthrough in gaming, pushing the boundaries of what we can have in a video game. Would Starfield be able to meet these expectations? We won't know until the game actually comes out. But in the meantime, we hope Bethesda would use TGA 2021 as a platform for them to showcase their upcoming new game.

Fable 4

Last but not least is yet another hotly-anticipated game that we've been waiting for for a long time. Ever since the change in leadership handling Fable, expectations have become high again for the franchise. Now, the new hands working on Fable 4 will be tested, and we're excited to see how they will fare. Is this the return of the Fable franchise to greatness? But first, please reveal a brand-new trailer!
