Recently, Dota professional Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon ran into a season-ending complication with his team, Vici Gaming. He eventually found a proper home with Indonesia's  BOOM Esports filling in as stand-in. Unfortunately, 23savage has no permanent professional team but it seems he hasn't neglected sharpening his Dota 2 skills. The young Carry proudly announced his personal Dota 2 milestone for all his Twitter followers.

A TRUE MILESTONE

23savage achieved this unprecedented feat by going on a 40-25 record over the past eight days. The Dota 2 Pro Tracker website features his amazing record. The 18-year-old Carry reached the milestone by flexing on his favorite heroes Morphling, Troll Warlord, and Arc Warden. Additionally, 23savage previously became the 2nd player to ever reach 11,000 MMR behind Filipino Carry Abed Yusop. Several pro players from different regions offered congratulatory messages for the young Carry.

Vici Gaming's decision to part ways with 23 savage ultimately resulted in the Carry being left out in the cold. His 12,000 MMR proves he has the ability to fight against the best players in the world but that means nothing without a proper professional team.

23savage and several other skilled free agents need to find professional teams to get their way into the DPC. Valve's current Dota 2 format requires players to find official teams before regional qualifiers take place. The absence of open qualifiers vastly impacts the future of freelance players. It will be a waste of good talent to simply leave skilled players out of the professional stage due to the new Dota Pro Circuit regulations.
