Ubisoft has released the Anno 1800 The High Life DLC, and with it comes a slew of new features and content. The DLC introduces skyscrapers, new buildings, production facilities, and a brand new monument, alongside other additions.

All the New Features in Anno 1800 The High Life DLC

The official press release describes the Anno 1800 The High Life DLC's main new feature, skyscrapers, as follows:

“A thriving population needs plenty of residences – and there is no better way to maximize space in your city than to build upwards with skyscrapers. The High Life’s skyscrapers are available for the Investor and Engineers citizens and can be upgraded up to five levels (or three for Engineers), with each level increasing the height, maximum population, and the number of resident needs.”

The High Life DLC will be introducing verticality to the city-builder. Buildings will have a modular system that allows them to be customizable. The new monument, The Skyline Tower, will also be added with the DLC. It is inspired by some of the world's famous skyscrapers.

With the addition of skyscrapers also comes the new Panorama Effect. This gives a boost to the building's maximum number of residents, reduces maintenance costs, and provides bonus residents. However, the skyscraper must not be surrounded by other skyscrapers of the same height or higher.

Additionally, a free update came to Anno 1800 that coincided with the release of The High Life DLC. This update centered on Quality-of-Life improvements, a new high-score screen, and a multi-downgrade tool. Anno 1800 The High Life DLC is available on PC via the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Game Store. You may purchase it by itself for $6.59 or with the Season 3 Pass for $14.99.
