Juš “Crownie” Marušič, previously known as Crownshot, has violated the LEC Rulebook and will be suspended for two competitive games.

Crownie, currently Team BDS Academy's bot laner, has “exhibited unacceptable behavior in his games on the live server,” according to the competitive ruling that Riot Games has issued. The ruling provided both context and the ruling in relation to the violated section of the rulebook:

“Through the standard investigations carried out by League Officials prior to the start of each Season, evidence showed that Crownie displayed negative behavior while playing League of Legends. Crownie’s usage of inappropriate and offensive language towards other players in the game is unacceptable and has no place in our competitive ecosystem. Additionally, Crownie has an ongoing warning for similar behavior, and a repeated offense meant we had to escalate the penalty.”

Crownie will be suspended from playing in the next two games until the 1st of July.

The rule that he broke was cited to be rule 9.1.10 of the LEC Rulebook which reads:

“A Team Manager/Member may not use language that is obscene, foul, vulgar, insulting, threatening, abusive, libelous, slanderous, defamatory or otherwise offensive or objectionable; or promote or incite hatred or discriminatory conduct at any time. A Team Manager/Member may not use any facilities, services or equipment provided or made available by the League or its contractors to post, transmit, disseminate or otherwise make available any such prohibited communications. A Team Manager/Member may not use this type of language on social media or during any public-facing events.”

Crownshot has a recent violation for “conduct unbecoming of an LEC team member” when he was playing for Team Vitality, issued September 2021. For this violation, he only received a warning.
