Deepest Chamber is a deck-building RPG with rogue-like elements. You start with a basic deck of cards that you use to deal damage, protect yourself with shields, and heal yourself. The cards you use fall under different RPG classes like Warrior, Priest, and Thief. Each class exemplify a particular way of playing the game, and it's up to you to build combos and synergize the cards in your deck. You go through different chambers across floors of different dungeons. Corrupted denizens of the underworld reside in each of the chambers you explore, and you'll have to quell them to progress. Each dungeon has a definite boss fight at its lowest floor, which will complete the dungeon once beaten.
Deck-building RPG games have been on the rise since the success of Slay the Spire took the indie game scene by storm. Deepest Chamber reformulates the gameplay and adds its own touch, featuring a first-person dungeon-crawling view. Expect to see gruesome enemies featured in the game's dark and gritty aesthetic.
