Yelan and Xiao's banner is expected to be in the first half of Genshin Impact Version 2.7. Unfortunately, due to the delays brought on by the ongoing COVID outbreak the update has been delayed. According to dataminers, the update is tentatively scheduled on May 31st.
The Yelan and Xiao banners will be separate but will run simultaneously, causing them to feature the same 4-star characters.
Yelan / Xiao Banner 4 stars
According to this leak, Yelan and Xiao will be accompanied by the following 4 stars:
- Barbara (Hydro Catalyst)
- Yanfei (Pyro Catalyst)
- Noelle (Geo Claymore)
Barbara is a solid healer, in the absence of better characters like Kokomi. Paired with Yelan, the Hydro resonance boost will enhance her healing as well. Another thing that can be left unnoticed is the Hydro application that her Elemental Skill gives, but it's not too reliable.
Yanfei is a flexible character. While intended to be a DPS in a party, people have started to play her as a source of shielding due to her Elemental Burst. This method, affectionately referred to as “Tank-fei,” is great at proccing the Pyro resonance boost for some of your Pyro damage dealers.
Noelle is a great all around character. Offering shielding, healing, and damage, Noelle truly does everything. Best suited for beginner players, you can still see some players have Noelle as a mainstay in their overworld team.

Alongside the characters, the featured 5-star weapons were also leaked. It would seem that the weapons are Yelan's and Xiao's signature weapons
- Aqua Simulacra (5* Bow)
- Primordial Jade Winged Spear (5* Polearm)
In the leak, both banners are set to begin on May 31st, but this might be temporary.
