With Kazuya Mishima joining the fray, many TEKKEN fighters join with him in spirit form, including Devil Jin. Spirits, introduced in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, serve as powerups to help your fighter battle in the World of Light.
If you bought the SSBU Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2, players will have access to a new stage, new music, and a set of spirits all based on the TEKKEN franchise. Most importantly, you also get the new fighter, Kazuya. Also notable is the inclusion of Devil Jin.
How to get the Devil Jin Spirit in SSBU
Devil Jin is one of the spirits included in the new DLC content pack. However, there are some extra steps in unlocking this particular spirit. Players must first level up Jin Kazama’s spirit all the way to Level 99. Then, the Jin Kazama Spirit will transform to his ultimate fighting form: Devil Jin.
Aside from Jin, there are a couple more spirits from the TEKKEN franchise joining SSBU. Here are the other TEKKEN fighters that are included as spirits:

- Nina Williams
- King & Armor King
- Ling Xiaoyu
- Kuma & Panda
- Asuka Kazama
- Yoshimitsu
- Jack-7
- Heihachi Mishima
Director Masahiro Sakurai also announced in his presentation of an in-depth look at Kazuya that there will also be a new set of Mii Fighters to be released along with the upcoming DLC pack. SSBU collaborated with Tales of Symphonia, Skyrim, Devil May Cry, and Shantae to come up with the new Mii Fighter costumes.
Looks like there’s tons of new content to explore and enjoy. Kazuya, new Mii Fighters, and Devil Jin will all be available come June 29, 2021.
