Debonair and deadly—Riot is tapping into the classy picture of high society for its final League of Legends event for 2021. As Season 11 officially pulls to a close, players have one last chance to embark on event-related missions and earn some cool collectibles as rewards. You can also cash in on eight prestigious Debonair skins before the year ends. Here's a guide to the League of Legends Debonair 2021 event and how to complete all the missions, especially with the new point system in place.
League of Legends Debonair event 2021
New point system for missions
League is changing up its progression system for missions, awarding “objective points” for time spent in-game rather than having specific objectives like killing 300 minions or playing as a specific champion. Supposedly, according to Riot, this would give more equal value to the time that players invest in playing the game, including different modes and even Teamfight Tactics (TFT).
So here's the breakdown for the new time-based system: you'll earn a specific number of points for each minute played, and more if you emerge victorious for that match. For Summoner's Rift, ARAM, and special event game modes, players earn four points per minute in a loss and six points per minute in a win. For any TFT mode, you'll get two points per minute played if you end up in 5th to 8th place, but three points per minute if you rank in the top four. This means, for example, that a 30-minute ranked match on SR will net you 120 points for a loss and 180 points for a win.
Debonair event pass – is it worth it?
The Debonair event gives players the option of purchasing a premium Event Pass. This will unlock special missions that you can complete. Aside from the missions, the Pass comes with tokens that you can exchange for rewards in the Event Shop as well as Loot Orbs. Each orb gives you a random skin shard and may drop a mythic skin, gem stone, or Debonair Clutch Bag. In turn, the bonus bag contains one 1350+ RP skin shard, two 975+ RP skin shards, plus a 10 percent chance of getting two more 975+ RP skin shards.
But in case you choose not to get the Pass, you'll still be able to access a huge chunk of missions. Also, the regular Debonair missions can also be completed through specific objectives like earning a certain amount of gold or dealing a specific amount of damage, so you don't necessarily have to hit the number of time-based points required.
In the next section, we break down which missions are exclusive to the Event Pass so you can make the decision to see if it's worth paying for. For us, we think it can be good if you're the type to grind for event collectibles or you have many skins that you have yet to unlock (so the loot orbs can be great if you're lucky!). But do note that you'll need to invest quite a bit of playing time. With the season ending soon, make sure that you have the time to spare to make the most out of the Event Pass missions.
The standard Debonair 2021 Event Pass costs 1650 RP and includes the following:
- Event Pass-exclusive missions
- 4 Debonair Orbs
- 200 Debonair Tokens
The Debonair 2021 Event Pass bundle costs 2650 RP and includes the following:
- Event Pass-exclusive missions
- 4 Debonair Orbs
- 200 Debonair Tokens
- Debonair Brand icon
- Debonair Brand skin
- Brand champion (if you don't already have the champion unlocked)

Event Pass exclusive missions
The Event Pass exclusively offers two sets or types of missions: Milestone Missions and Weekly Win Missions. For these missions, you can only complete them by earning “objective points” from the time-based progress system.
Each Milestone Mission requires you to score 1275 points and you have to complete them in order. Some of these reward you with Prestige Points that you can exchange for Prestige skins—legacy collectibles that will be retired by mid-March 2022.
1 | Earn 1275 Objective Points | 2021 Debonair pass icon + 5 Prestige Points |
2 | 10 Win XP Boost + 5 Prestige Points | |

Meanwhile, the weekly missions need you to accumulate 1650 points, but luckily they don't expire until the end of the Debonair event on January 10, 2022. The start dates just indicate when the mission will be activated so you can start collecting points again toward that mission. The rewards are also the same, granting you 250 Debonair Tokens each week.

“Free” missions – no need for Event Pass
The Debonair event presents players with 10 regular missions that you will need to complete in order. No skipping! Moreover, you can only complete each mission once. Remember that for these missions, you have the option of completing certain tasks, just like how past event missions worked, or accumulating “objective points” from the time-based system.

But for the Token Bank mission, you can complete this over and over again. So if you invest enough time in the game, you can rack up a ton of tokens and claim some sweet rewards.
Debonair Wardrobe | Play 8 games on a team featuring a Debonair or Crime City Nightmare skin OR earn 2250 Objective Points | 60 Debonair Tokens & Debonair Icon |

Debonair skins, chromas, and more
For the 2021 edition of the Debonair line-up, eight League of Legends champions have received the dapper green makeover. The new skins are: Debonair Zed, Debonair Draven, Debonair Leona, Debonair LeBlanc, Debonair Malzahar, Debonair Master Yi, and Debonair Brand. Except for Debonair Zed, which is a Legendary skin that costs 1820 RP, all the other skins cost 1350 RP. In addition, Brand is also getting a Prestige edition skin.
You can also get your hands on these skins by availing of any of the various bundle sets that are on offer. For the Debonair 2021 Mega Bundle, you get all the eight champions (unless you already own them), their Debonair 2021 skins and border icons, and a Debonair Ward Skin for 16815 RP, with discounts applied if you have the champions already. You can also get the Debonair Champion Border Sets for one specific champion, skin, border icon, and ward skin at 2660 RP (2220 RP without the champion), or 3130 RP (2690 RP without the champion) for the Zed set.
