A preview for League of Legends Patch 12.12 has been shared by Tim “Riot Truexy” Jiang on Twitter. Here's roughly what we can expect to come on the upcoming patch. This patch is scheduled for June 22, 2022.

Aside from buffing several champions that have been neglected for the past few patches, the newly released Void Empress Bel'Veth will also be receiving some nerfs. August “Riot August” Browning offered some context to these changes in a tweet, saying “[Bel'Veth's] winrate in skilled/elite play, despite starting at 37%, is starting to reach 50%. Her average MMR winrate is 55%. All are still climbing by the day. That's pretty strong for a champion who's only been out 1 week”

Continuing the nerfs, Zeri is once again on the receiving end of the balance stick. After last patch's changes, she's being reigned in once again this patch.

This patch also aims to get rid of the Divine Sunderer Katarina build that has been plaguing games everywhere. Yuumi's and Soraka's healing are both receiving adjustments, and Shaco's getting a little shake-up on his ratios.

Shadowflame

  • Bugfix: Now deals the correct damage (was reduced by remaining MR an extra time), but still applied in a bugged way via a separate instance.
  • As a side note, Maw of Malmortius has a new data value stating “8% Omnivamp” which shows up in the League Client tooltip, but in-game the effect after the shield is triggered is still at 10%. Unknown what was or is the intend regarding this one.
