First announced at the July EA Play Live event, Lost in Random is an upcoming EA Original Title. Swedish developer Zoink! Studios are helming the game's development. The Lost in Random release date is on September 10, 2021. The game's official story trailer may be seen below.

Lost in Random Release Date: September 10, 2021

Lost in Random combines real-time action combat and turn-based tactics in “evolving giant gameboard arenas.” The sentient dice companion, Dicey, will also be able to augment gameplay based on the player's rolls. Additionally, there will be a deck-building mechanic that will give players access to different attacks and abilities. Moreover, the game will also feature branching dialogue options and sidequests.

Notably, the Eisner-winner Ryan North penned the game's dialogue. He is most well-known for his work on Adventure Time and Marvel's The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.

The game's story revolves around the protagonist, Even, and her quest to save her older sister, Odd. She will be traveling accross the kingdom of Random with her companion, Dicey. The kingdom of Random is divided into six different realms, ruled by a wicked queen. In Lost in Random‘s world, a cursed black dice dictates the fate of all life.

Additionally, “dark fairy tales” and stop-motion animated films served as the game's major inspirations. Again, the Lost in Random release date is on September 10, 2021.
