During the recent Summer Game Fest 2024, Honkai Star Rail (HSR) revealed March 7th's new form, which was also teased in the recent 2.3 livestream.

March 7th New Form

In the recent Summer Game Fest 2024, players and viewers were shown a trailer for HSR, showing off the upcoming version 2.3. The trailer featured characters introduced in Penacony, such as Sparkle, Acheron, Aventurine, and Robin, as well as the upcoming playable characters Firefly/SAM and Jade.

The trailer, however, did not stop there. After showing the key art for HSR Version 2.3, the trailer then showed March 7th looking at a poster in the Xianzhou Luofu. She talks about the upcoming Wardance (which was teased in the version 2.3 livestream), before appearing in a brand-new costume.

New March 7th Form

March 7th's new form has her in a costume from the Xianzhou Luofu and wielding two swords. The video teaser did not show much else, like her supposed path, skills, or move set. However, this confirmation that March 7th is, in fact, the Legendary New Swordmaster is enough for most players.

While nothing else was shown regarding this new form, players can expect it to be in the game during Version 2.4.

Players have been looking forward to this new form ever since Shaoji teased it during the Version 2.1. livestream. During the livestream, a player asked him when March 7th will transform. He answered by stating that it was gonna happen, and that she “will have a system similar to switching Paths that is unique to her.”

As both Dan Heng and the Trailblazer have already received alternate versions of themselves, it was only a matter of time before March 7th did the same.

Players are, quite understandably, excited about the reveal. It's no exaggeration to say that players have waited for almost a year for this reveal, ever since the release of Dan Heng – Imbibitor Lunae. With her new form finally confirmed, players have taken to X (formerly Twitter) to express their feelings.

Personally, I too am excited with the reveal. March 7th is one of my favorite characters story and personality-wise, so seeing her receive a brand-new form is great to see.
