Hyakumantenbara Salome (壱百満天原サロメ) reached 1 million subscribers only two weeks after her debut, making her the fastest Virtual YouTuber to reach this milestone.
Salome debuted last May 24, 2022 under the NIJISANJI agency. From the beginning, she was breaking ground – Salome is the first VTuber under NIJISANJI to debut as a solo act and not part of a “generation.” A couple hours after her debut stream, Salome reached 100,000 subscribers making her the fastest NIJISANJI talent to do so.
She was practically reaching milestones everyday. She earned half a million subscribers only five days after her debut, and on June 7th, she surpassed the 1,000,000 mark. Despite streaming strictly in Japanese, Salome has garnered many foreign fans. The record for being the fastest VTuber to reach the 1 million subscriber mark was previously held by Hololive English's Gawr Gura, who had a record of 39 days. Salome's quick growth also makes her the fifth fastest Japanese YouTuber to reach this milestone.
As of the time of writing, Salome has 1.14 million subscribers, which puts her as the 2nd most subscribed NIJISANJI talent, only behind Kuzuha at 1.3 million.

She streams on her YouTube Channel. These are around an hour long, most of which are part of her Resident Evil 7 playthroughs. This easy to digest content combined with her entertaining speech pattern has attracted over a million viewers on each of her 14 currently uploaded VODs.
