Square Enix is celebrating 30 magical years of the classic RPG franchise, Mana. and to everyone's surprise, the company announced three new Mana projects during a live stream on Sunday. Square Enix be releasing a new mobile game called Echoes of Mana, an anime series titled Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal, and a new untitled game for consoles.

Echoes of Mana will likely be another free-to-play hit on both IOS and Android devices. Longtime fans and RPG lovers alike will most likely swarm the game. Footage from the trailer shows that Echoes of Mana will be bringing in characters from various Mana titles. Some speculate that this might be possible through in-game purchases. The much-anticipated game is set to release in 2022.

Meanwhile, the TV anime series, Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal, is currently in production. It is a collaboration between Warner Bros. Japan and Graphinica with Yokohama Animation Lab. Series producer Masaru Oyamada said that it was actually the animation project that inspired the HD remaster of the series.

Both Masaru and Sho Oyamada, who is also a producer for Square Enix, showed nothing but love for the project. They seemed intent on giving the fans what they truly want. However, they still haven't given a release date as to when  Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal will actually premiere.

For those waiting on the console game, they might just have to wait a bit longer. They confirmed during the live stream that a new game in the series is in development. However, fans will simply have to wait a bit more for full details.
