With reports surfacing all over that New York Giants players are turning on head coach Ben McAdoo, some guys are coming out in strong defense of the man. Unlike the anonymous sourced reports, these players are putting their names on it.

“Whoever said it, whoever was anonymous, is a coward. Flat out,” defensive tackle Damon Harrison said, via the New York Daily News. “If you’re not man enough to put your name behind something that you feel because that hasn’t been echoed to anybody in this locker room. I mean, we could have talked it out if you feel that way. It could have went differently, but point blank, whoever said that is a coward.”

For those missing the context about the reports of Ben McAdoo's alleged demise, here’s one of the statements that ESPN acquired, transcribed by Josh Alper of ProFootballTalk.com:

“McAdoo has lost this team. He’s got us going 80 percent on Saturdays before we get on a plane to play a game, it’s wild. Changed our off day. He’s dishing out fines like crazy. Suspended two of our stars when we need them most. Throws us under the bus all the time. He’s ran us into the ground and people wonder why we’ve been getting got.”

Josina Anderson of ESPN also reported that two anonymous players told her that “guys are giving up on the season” and “just don’t care anymore.”

This is interesting. Thing is, none of what people believe to be true might fail in mattering. Especially if the Giants don't start winning.
