The New York Giants find themselves staring at a 2-5 record placing them at the bottom of their division. Missing out on a fifth consecutive postseason appearance looks likely as we approach the halfway mark of the season. That would likely make them sellers for the the NFL trade deadline on November 2.

For Giants tight end Evan Engram, that means once again hearing his name in trade rumors. But despite the team struggles on the field, the five-year pro isn't raring to leave New York just yet.

Via Ryan Dunleavy:

“I can’t even think about it that way,” Engram told The New York Post. “It’s something out of my control that I can’t afford to put any energy towards. As long as I’m here, I’m a Giant. I got drafted here, I have family here and I love this team. They treat us really well here.”

Evan Engram is a sexy pickup for any squad looking to boost their tight end spot for a postseason run. He's a former first-round pick who made his first Pro Bowl team last season and is still on the final year of his rookie contract, one that pays him just $6 million this season.

Engram may not be looking for a Giants exit, but it could very well come in the next few days.
