The New York Giants are in the midst of another tough season. They are 4-11 and in last place of the NFC East. However, defensive back Logan Ryan is apparently happy right where he is. While speaking to the media Wednesday, Ryan was asked about playing in front of Giants fans who are angry and disappointed in the team's performance.

Logan Ryan took a swipe at the Tennessee Titans fanbase in his response.

“I understand that we have a great fan base, a ton of tradition here. It's a privilege to play here. I played in a franchise in Tennessee where the fan base was nonexistent. You couldn't even get fans to the games, you had to put tickets half off to get fans to the games. So I understand the tradition of this area.”

Everyone knows that New York City is a great sports town, with rabid, passionate fans. But the comment from Logan Ryan appeared unprovoked.

Ryan began his pro career playing for Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots for four seasons. They drafted him in the 3rd round of the 2013 NFL Draft out of Rutgers.

He then moved on to Tennessee in 2017 and played three seasons with the Titans. His final season there in 2019 was arguably the best of his career. He finished with 113 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four forced fumbled and four interceptions and a career-high 18 passes defensed.

He had vocalized his eagerness to stay with the team, but the contract situation could not get worked out. That prompted his departure and eventual signing with the New York Giants. Ryan is in his 2nd season with New York.
