Washington Redskins safety Landon Collins was caught on tape mixing it up with his former New York Giants teammates in the two teams' NFC East divisional matchup on Sunday in Week 16.

In a video shared by Giants Wire's Doug Rush on Twitter, the 25-year-old ex-Giants defensive back Collins can be seen pulling New York tight end Kaden Smith by the back of his collar during a scrum between the rival squads. Then, sophomore running back Saquon Barkley of the Giants walked up to Collins, shoving his former teammate.

The 6'0″ Alabama product Collins, selected by New York in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft, spent his first four seasons in the league with the Giants before general manager Dave Gettleman had no interest in bringing back the three-time Pro-Bowl safety. Instead, Collins signed a lucrative six-year, $84 million deal within the division with the D.C. franchise.

The Redskins wound up losing in Week 16 to the Giants in overtime, with rookie quarterback Daniel Jones hitting Smith, of all people, for the game-winning touchdown pass in the post-regulation period.

Appearing in 15 games for the Redskins in his first season with the team, Collins has made 117 combined tackles, nine tackles for losses, three quarterback hits, and forced two fumbles.

Collins' relationship with the Giants and especially Gettleman and head coach Pat Shurmur deteriorated at the end of the young safety's tenure at the Meadowlands. Many have drawn comparisons to New York, letting Collins sign with another team in a similar fashion to the exodus imposed on another star player in Odell Beckham Jr. when the Giants traded their Pro-Bowl wide receiver to the Cleveland Browns in the same offseason.
