Tiger Woods is a living legend in the sports world. Athletes from all over hold a tremendous amount of respect for Woods, who is considered to be one of the greatest golfers of all-time. Receiving the opportunity to play alongside Woods for young golfers can feel like a dream come true. And that happens to be the case for Max Homa.

Homa shared the following tweet in reference to being paired with Woods for the upcoming Open Championship.

I’m playing with Tiger Woods at the 150th Open Championship at St Andrews. Hey golf gods, we’re even. Can’t believe this is real and ya it’s corny but who cares I’m playing with the freakin (goat)

This is a feel good story on it's own. A wholesome reaction to playing with Tiger Woods is great. But what makes this story even more incredible is that Max Homa asked Woods for a practice round back in 2013.

For Homa, this is really a dream come true. He is going to enjoy the Open Championship regardless of how well he plays. Maintaining focus could prove to be difficult as he plays alongside his golf hero.

Tiger Woods has expressed his desire to compete in the Open Championship. Storylines in reference to Woods over the past few months have revolved around his amazing return to golf following last year's car crash. But Woods famously enjoys playing at St. Andrews and has every intention of winning this weekend.

It will be intriguing to see how both Woods and Homa perform at the 2022 Open Championship.
