More League of Legends skins have been revealed, and for Patch 12.9 we'll be getting new High Noon skins! Katarina, Varus, Leona, Talon, and Mordekaiser are the recipients for this batch. A sixth, unannounced member somehow sneaked his way into the splash arts, keep reading to find out who!

High Noon Leona is the Legendary of the set, and comes with a new voiceover. High Noon Talon receives the Prestige version of the skin.

High Noon Katarina – 1350 RP

“My people got swindled. I aim to collect what we're owed,” the Outsider says, pinning her dagger in a wanted poster of the Mechanical Devil. Her eyes burn like stoked coal as she fixes each dusty traveler in her gaze, “And I hear y'all plan on jumpin' the Sulfur Rail, Harbingers. If you're gonna take this devil down, I want in.”

High Noon Katarina swoops in with her daggers slashing through posters of the “Mechanical Devil” in her splash art. Her flame-colored hair arranged intricately shares the fiery glow with her eyes. As with all the High Noon skins, Katarina wears clothes befitting the Wild Western vibes of the skin line.

High Noon Katarina's in game model has an even more intense glow. The tips of her daggers are a fiery yellow, and emit fire particles when left on the ground. The skin effects play a lot into smoke imagery too. Casting her ultimate turns High Noon Katarina into a yellow whirl, and the range is denoted by a darker tone. Enemies hit get the yellow “flame” on dagger impact.

High Noon Leona – 1820 RP

The Lady of House Solari lifts her chin against the scorching wind. Ahead lies her family's salvation: the Sulfur Rail, carrying the stolen family fortune, churning across the desert. The only thing that stands in her way is the Mechanical Devil himself. Her sword hums like cicadas in the gloaming. The butterflies gather. Time for the Harbingers to ride.

High Noon Leona fits her title of Lady of House Solari in this alternate skin universe. The fiery butterflies, the parasol that protect her from the cinders, and Leona's white hair easily caught my eye. High Noon Leona has her hair in a unique style: curly drills adorned by a fire butterfly. Her shield too, seems to contain within it a fire, reaching out to the cinders raining down. In the background is a rather plump reptilian wearing an undersized hat. High Noon Tahm Kench, anyone?

As you might have expected, the parasol acts as High Noon Leona's sword in-game. The same fiery butterflies accentuate all of her abilities, surrounding enemies hit. The butterflies are most noticeable on her ultimate, wherein the butterflies linger for quite some time in the impact area of the skill.

There's also this neat little detail wherein High Noon Leona gets a butterfly flying around her after 6 assists, and earns a crown of fire after 14 assists.

As a Legendary skin, High Noon Leona gets a custom voiceover. One thing of note is her thick Western accent, carried elegantly as expected of a Lady.

High Noon Mordekaiser – 1350 RP

Few meet the Mechanical Devil and live to tell the tale. They describe a behemoth: all steel and gears, fueled by hellfire and fierce enough to scare a man's soul from his skin. He is the King of the Sulfur Rail, reigning over the train to Hell from a throne of stolen gold and infernal iron. Eternal, and unassailable.

The Mechanical Devil himself. High Noon Mordekaiser lives up to his title and is posed menacingly amidst a desert, leaving behind a trail of destruction. In his right hand he clutches a mace that looks like he ripped it straight out of a steam engine, while in his left hand he clutches an unfortunate man whose fate is most likely sealed.

High Noon Mordekaiser looks like what you would get if a furnace was a Decepticon.

High Noon Mordekaiser's in game model further emphasizes his glowing chest. Upon activation of his passive, he turns the ground around him resemble that of a desert. His Q leave cinders on the floor on impact, and his W intensifies the glow on his chest, and even emitting a straight beam of light sometimes. His E has three forms, one of the Mordekaiser player's view, one for his allies, and another for his enemies. Check them out here. His ultimate transports him and the targeted enemy into a desert arena, surrounded by a maroon void and floating pillars of rock.

Upon gaining buffs from his enemy from getting a kill in his ultimate, High Noon Mordekaiser's helmet turns molten and his fires grow stronger.

High Noon Varus – 1350 RP

Ain't nothin' for a dead angel to do but resign himself to grief. Varus was content to allow Mordekaiser to take him past the infernal gates themselves… Until a ragtag gang of thieves interrupted his mourning. Varus now picks up his bow once more, riding as a Harbinger. It's high time he got revenge for the massacre of Heaven.

High Noon Varus sports the whole Western Kit, complete with red scarf, eye mask, and a white hat. His right hand glows golden, not unlike the feathery wings of his bow. Accented with gold, it's clear that the bow is meant for an angel. Varus is shown brandishing his angelic bow in a duel with High Noon Talon.

The arrows from High Noon Varus' auto attacks share the same gold as his bow, and glows with a purple light. While charging his Q, his bow disassembles into eight distinct “wings,” before shooting a big golden arrow. When Empowered, the Q shoots an even bigger arrow with a more noticeable purple glow. The Blight stacks applied from the W passive are denoted by feathers revolving around the enemies. The E leaves small arrows in the ground, surrounded by a golden outline denoting the ability's range. Pressing R launches two arrows in a helix, before tethering enemies together through an angelic ribbon.

“Fate is catchin' up to you, old friend,” Talon says, leaning back in his chair, predator's eyes gleaming under the shadows of his hat. He still moves like a demon, even warped and corrupted by angel blood as he is. His smile, rueful and knowing, has too many teeth: “The end is comin' for us all.”

High Noon Talon is headed straight for Varus in their shared splash art, equipped with his demonic blade glowing yellow at the tip. He is also donning Western attire, and more black than white is visible in the splash art.

In game, though, High Noon Talon is mostly red and white. His passive continues the fiery theme, as does his Q. His W has more of the golden aesthetic similar to what High Noon Varus has, though. The blades spawned upon casting his ultimate also spawn the angelic blades.

High Noon Talon Prestige Edition

Devilishly handsome and wearing the latest in Western chic, Talon is equally ready to rock the runway or ride the open road. Those boots are made for walking, and he'll walk all over anyone standing in his way.

Unfortunately, the splash art for this skin has not been released at the time of writing.

The Prestige High Noon Talon flips the base colors, and now he is wearing dark blue clothes. The effects for the passive now follow the angelic theme, with a slight glint under the affected champions. The daggers that spawn from him are more intricate, having blue and red gems embedded in the center of each. Each of the daggers also leave a shiny blue trail that turns into yellow closer to the dagger itself.
