The Philadelphia Eagles were able to take care of business in Week 4 in a must-win game against the Green Bay Packers. Above all, Carson Wentz and the offense played with urgency as they squeaked out a 34-27 win on Thursday night.

Prior to Thursday's game, the Eagles were 1-2 and the outlook of their season was hanging in the balance. Despite being down early in the game, Wentz rallied the team behind him to put their season back on track.

By looking at the box score, it doesn't appear as if Wentz did anything special but he made the plays that were needed to win. The fourth-year quarterback completed 16 of his 27 attempts for 160 yards and three touchdowns versus the Packers.

Additionally, the Eagles franchise quarterback was able to avoid turning the ball over. The numbers aren't flashy but he did a phenomenal job of being efficient while the Eagles rushing attack gashed Green Bay for 176 yards on the ground.

It was a good thing that Philadelphia was able to run the ball due to Aaron Rodgers being in mid-season form at home. Altogether, the Packers offense had 491 yards of offense but it proved to be for naught as the Eagles won the game.

Considering all of that, what grade should Wentz receive for his performance against the Packers?

Carson Wentz Week 4 Grade against the Packers: B+

When piecing everything together, Wentz should draw a fairly high grade for his performance. With that being said, the fearless passer played well enough to garner a B+ grade for his game on Thursday night.

Coming into the game, Green Bay's defense was regarded as one of the most improved groups in the NFL this season. The Eagles offensive line and running game led the way but Wentz also contributed to the team's 34 points on Thursday.

The North Dakota State product didn't have to do too much but he made the most of his limited opportunities. Philadelphia was rewarded with three drives in plus-territory in the first half and Wentz capitalized on them with two passing touchdowns.

Additionally, Wentz led Philadelphia on a touchdown drive on their first possession in the second half. Again, the most positive aspect of his performance was the fact he didn't turn the ball over.

Along with his positives, the only reason he didn't receive a higher grade was because he missed quite a few easy throws. For instance, there was a third-down play late in the fourth quarter that he failed to make.

On the play, Alshon Jeffery created ample separation from his defender but Wentz overthrew him by a few yards; giving Rodgers a chance to deliver a game-winning drive. That play was one of a few throws that Wentz would love to have back when he watches the film.

Nevertheless, Wentz played exceptionally well considering the circumstances of the game. His team had their backs against the wall on the road but he delivered when he was needed.
