This might just be the most important Green Bay Packers offseason in franchise history. The front office is waiting to hear Aaron Rodgers' decision to either stay or leave. Whatever he decides, the team will either aim to make a Super Bowl run again or enter a rebuild. Rodgers could shake up the NFL, but at the end of the day, is leaving his best option? Regardless, we take a look at some of our Packers' offseason predictions.

One of the reasons Rodgers could leave is due to the front office's inability to bring in legitimate weapons on the offense. The entire roster is stacked, but outside of Davante Adams, the Packers don't have any serious aerial threats. Now is the time for Green Bay to take a wide receiver early in the upcoming NFL Draft.

The Packers have concerns in multiple areas right now. However, at the end of the day, this is a roster capable of winning the Super Bowl. We still have to see how the front office handles some of the contracts coming up in the offseason, but we should see big decisions made by Za'Darius Smith, Davante Adams, and Aaron Rodgers.

With that said, here are four bold Packers offseason predictions.

Packers Offseason Predictions

4. Front office drafts a receiver in the first round of the NFL Draft

For whatever reason, the Packers have never done much to find legitimate talent in the receiving room since Davante Adams became a superstar. However, now is the time to make a splash selection in the NFL Draft. Whether Rodgers returns or not, selecting a rookie receiver is one of the best moves this franchise can make in the offseason.

3. Za'Darius Smith is given an extension to stay with the team through 2025

Although his recent actions have worried Packers fans, there's reason to believe Za'Darius Smith remains on the roster next year. When healthy, Smith is one of the league's best pass rushers, making him an important piece for Green Bay's defense. He's entering the final year on his current contract and is likely searching for a new deal soon.

Signing an extension would be the best-case scenario for Smith. However, it might be in the Packers' best interest to give him an extension this offseason. If they can guarantee he remains with the team through the 2025 season, Green Bay's defense should be one of the best in the NFL for a few more years.

2. Packers find a way to retain Davante Adams

Davante Adams is due to hit free agency but the Packers should be doing everything possible to keep him on the roster. Don't be shocked if they give him the franchise tag, but it would be smarter for the front office to re-sign Adams to a longer deal. He's one of the best receivers in the NFL and that shouldn't change anytime soon.

1. Aaron Rodgers returns to Green Bay for at least one more season

A lot of the Packers' decisions can't be made until Aaron Rodgers chooses to remain with the team or request a trade. Having said that, his best option might just be to stay in Green Bay. They already have an elite offensive line, Davante Adams, and a solid run game. Not to mention, the defense is one of the best in the league as well, which makes them a Super Bowl contender once again.

If the Packers were to select an exciting rookie receiver, the offense would suddenly improve even more so. Sure, it's exciting to think about Aaron Rodgers playing with the Denver Broncos, but the grass isn't always greener on the other side. Additionally, the franchise went out of their way to hire Tom Clements as the quarterback coach, which is a cherry on top for this team in general. Look for Rodgers to make his decision soon, but it would make tremendous sense for him to run it back with Green Bay.
