Veteran power forward Anthony Tolliver has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.
Tolliver began the season with the Portland Trail Blazers. Portland then traded him to the Sacramento Kings in the Trevor Ariza deal.
The Kings waived Tolliver on February 29. He's now joining a Grizzlies squad which is in eighth place in the rugged Western Conference standings:
Anthony Tolliver has appeared in 42 games this season. He's averaging 3.3 points and 2.9 rebounds while shooting 34.3 percent from the field, 30.8 percent from beyond the arc and 66.7 percent from the free-throw line.
Now 34 years old, Tolliver will space the floor for the Grizzlies with his 3-point shooting and be a good locker room presence. He's been in the NBA since 2008.
The Grizzlies, led by rookie sensation Ja Morant, are 29-31 on the season.
