The Memphis Grizzlies have been one of the NBA's most pleasant surprises this season, and much of their success had to do with the magnificent play of rookie guard Ja Morant.

Morant is not only talented, but he also plays with an edge, which is something many players around the league lack.

Recently, Morant and Dillon Brooks called out Andre Iguodala, whom Memphis traded for over the summer. Iguodala has refused to suit up for the Grizzlies and is waiting for either a trade or a buyout, which was widely expected when he was acquired from the Golden State Warriors during the offseason.

But the Grizzlies youngsters have not taken so kindly to what they feel is disrespect from Iguodala, with Brooks saying the Grizzlies can't wait for Iguodala to get traded so they can play against him and show him what Memphis is all about.

Warriors star and Iguodala's former teammate Stephen Curry took to Instagram to defend Iguodala, which resulted in Morant posting a Twitter photo of Kevin Durant holding a Finals MVP trophy.

Not surprisingly, Curry fans fired back at Morant, but Morant seems to be loving it.

The 20-year-old said that he likes Curry a lot as a player but that he isn't scared of him and even pulled up some old tweets showing his respect for the sharpshooter.

Memphis might be a couple of years away from being a serious contender in the Western Conference, but when the Grizzlies finally do arrive, I have a feeling Morant is going to become an icon, both on the court and on social media.
