After losing Game 1 to the Minnesota Timberwolves, Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies responded in Game 2 with a historical beating of their first round opponents.

The Grizzlies took down the Timberwolves 124-96 to even the series at 1-1. It was a balanced performance from the team, with seven players scoring in double figures led by Morant's 23 points. Memphis also did a good job limiting Anthony Edward and Karl-Anthony Towns who scored 20 and 15, respectively, after combining for 65 points in Game 1.

In the process, the Grizzlies made franchise history for their largest playoff win with 28.

Now that's how you bounce back from an upset.

Fans and experts alike showed some concerns about the Grizzlies following their Game 1 loss. After all, it looked like they have no answer for Edwards and Towns who got anything they wanted on the offensive end. However, Ja Morant and co. proved that the first game was just a fluke and they can do better.

Prior to Game 2, Morant has taken to social media to fire back at the detractors and to ease the worries of fans. And sure enough, he walked the talk with an impressive performance for the Grizzlies.

Of course it is still a series and things are far from over, but Memphis got themselves back in contention. Now, the series shifts to Minnesota where the Wolves will hope they'll be able to play better and move on from the embarrassing defeat.
