Like Dwayne Wade, Dirk Nowitzki and Kobe Bryant before him, Atlanta Hawks veteran Vince Carter is a legend of the game. And when you have the type of impact that those players had, you tend to get a lot of love before retiring.

The 22-year NBA swingman announced last summer that the 2019-20 season would be his last. With that said, the San Antonio Spurs honored the eight-time All-Star with a video prior to their game against the Hawks on Friday.

The video showcases several Carter highlights, many of which are against the Spurs themselves. Known as possibly the greatest dunker of all time, VC has a plethora of highlights to show.

Despite never playing for the Spurs, the organization decided to give respect to Carter.

Vince Carter will turn 43 years old next week, but that hasn't stopped him from being a contributing role player in the league. Now with the eighth team of his career, Vinsanity is putting up 4.6 points and 1.9 rebounds per game for the Hawks.

For his career, Carter has averaged 16.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
