Jimmy Butler had one of his best nights as a pro on Friday as he led the Miami Heat to a season-saving Game 6 win over the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Butler dropped 47 points all over Jayson Tatum and Co. as the Heat staved off elimination to force a Game 7 in Miami on Sunday.

Naturally, the basketball world erupted after Butler put on a show on the grandest of stages. Heat legend Dwyane Wade was one of the first to congratulate Butler, and he even had to tell LeBron James to step aside to make room for Jimmy:

Butler is now officially the leading franchise scorer for the Heat when facing elimination games. He just shattered Wade and LeBron's decade-long records. Talk about a historic performance, right?

Wade actually had a lot to do with Butler's epic showing in Game 6. According to the Heat talisman himself, Wade actually called him before the game to give him some words of encouragement. Butler credited Wade for lighting a fire under him as he did everything he can to ensure that Miami was going to live to fight another day.

Everything will be on the line on Sunday night in a winner-take-all Game 7 bout, and it goes without saying that Butler will need to be at his very best yet again.
