Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade wants his oldest son, Zaire Wade, to spend a day with Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Derrick Rose and learn what it takes to prepare your mind and body to play the game of basketball.

Since becoming the youngest MVP in NBA history back in 2011 with the Chicago Bulls, Rose has undergone four knee surgeries. However, the Chicago native always pushed through his rehabs and came back, and he's showing the fruit of his labor this season with the Timberwolves.

Entering Friday, Rose is averaging 18.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game while shooting a career-high 50.0 percent from the field and 47.5 percent from beyond the arc. The 30-year-old scored a whopping 50 points against the Utah Jazz on Halloween, a performance the entire NBA reacted to given what Rose has been through with injuries.

Dwyane Wade has been through his fair share of injuries, but not to the extent of Derrick Rose. Wade and Rose were briefly teammates last year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Wade knows first-hand what Rose has to do to make sure his body is ready to play the game of basketball after having four knee procedures. Zaire Wade should find a way to spend a day with Rose to see how the former MVP was able to stay mentally tough and keep his mind whole despite the injuries he has been through.
