Gabrielle Union defends LeBron James, Heat Big 3 with NSFW shots at Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce

Gabrielle Union is a pretty nice lady. As it turns out, however, the Hollywood actress can get pretty fierce when it comes to defending the honor of her husband, Dwyane Wade, and his Miami Heat superteam with fellow Big 3 members LeBron James and Chris Bosh.

On a recent appearance on JJ Redick’s Old Man & The Three podcast, Union got brutally honest as she shared her thoughts on what she feels is unwarranted criticism towards the Miami Heat superteam of LeBron and Co. Union was quick to point out that Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and the rest of the Boston Celtics did the exact same thing — except that they weren’t as successful as the infamous Heat Big 3:

“I was here for all of that s—,” Union said (h/t Brad Sullivan of Heat Nation). “But I was also here for when KG (Garnett) and Paul and [Rajon] Rondo and Ray [Allen] all came together, even though they don’t want to admit it that they kicked that b—- off. There’s been superteams before. They just didn’t, they didn’t have, it wasn’t in this era with this platform and with social media and sports talk radio 24/7.”

Union’s lengthy rant did not end there. She continued to take aim at the Celtics and the way they built their own superteam:

“It’s different, and how you look at it, it’s different,” she continued. “And the whole, ‘Built, not bought,’ whatever. Boring is what it says to me. Okay, you built it. Did anyone come? No, your fans are leaving at f—— halftime. Cheerleaders can’t be bothered.”

Shots fired from Gab here. She did not hold back, too.

To be fair, KG and Co. did win a championship for the Celtics. Then again, you could always argue that LeBron’s Miami Heat won two chips.

Two things are clear in all this. The first is that Gabrielle Union has some pretty strong feelings about superteams. Secondly, you don’t mess with this lady when it comes to her man.
