Miami Heat point guard Goran Dragic had a notable performance on Friday night against the Chicago Bulls as he continues to find his form after sustaining an ankle injury last month. His teammate in Jimmy Butler jokingly claimed that a dunk will serve as the ultimate barometer to determine whether or not Dragic is truly back on the floor, per Anthony Chiang.

Dragic was previously sidelined for a total of nine games due to his ankle injury and finally returned to action for the Heat in late February. He has yet to find consistency as of late but his performance against the Bulls definitely served as a step in the right direction.

The Slovenian playmaker recorded 20 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter to go with seven rebounds, and five assists through 32 minutes off the bench. Along with the production of Butler who notched 28 points, their Heat squad was able to roll past the Bulls as they grabbed a 101-90 victory.

With their latest win, Dragic and the Heat are currently on a three-game winning streak and have improved to a 20-18 record for the fourth spot in the Eastern Conference. The veteran point guard's role with the team may have regressed in recent years but he remains to be an integral player for the Heat this season.

Ultimately, Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra will need Dragic to continue to be productive in order for them to sustain their winning momentum. Staying true to what Butler said, here's to hoping that Dragic can complete a dunk in their coming games to officially mark his return on the court.
