The Miami Heat may be struggling this 2020-21 season, but that doesn't mean anyone can simply write off Jimmy Butler and Co.

Butler and his teammates proved just that after they closed out the top-seeded Jazz in a close encounter on Friday. The Heat won, 124-116, with Jimmy Buckets leading the way with a near triple-double of 33 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists.

After closing out the Jazz in the statement win, Butler was unsurprisingly ecstatic and couldn't help but yell: ‘You like that!'

Certainly, Heat fans liked that Jimmy Butler.

The Heat know the disrespect given to them as they struggled early  in the season. After all, even head coach Erik Spoelstra acknowledged that their record may have been a big part why Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo were snubbed from the All-Star Game–a surprising turn of events considering that the team just made the Finals in the 2020 NBA bubble.

“Probably people were quick to write us off, even with the subconscious voting, because of our record,” the Heat coach said, via Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel . “But since then, it already has changed a little bit. Both of them, Bam and JB are clearly All-Stars. It’s unfortunate.”

For what it's worth though, Butler, Adebayo and the rest of the South Beach franchise are proving their doubters wrong. They have now won five straight games and are up to fifth in the East standings.

It remains to be seen if the Heat can keep up the momentum, but the rest of the league should definitely watch out.
