Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler has been fined $30,000 for taking part in the Nikola Jokic fight. Butler was fined for attempting to escalate the altercation and failing to comply with an NBA security interview as part of the review process pertaining to an on-court matter.

Butler has always had a tough guy attitude. Many of it seems like it's just a show. He always likes to be in the middle of any altercation that's on the court, and he's paying the price for it this time. This doesn't mean much for him as $30,000 isn't much to Butler. He will not miss a game for the Miami Heat.

His teammate Markieff Morris was fined $50,000 for committing a flagrant foul 2 on Jokic. Jokic will serve his suspension on Wednesday Nov. 10th. The Nuggets are hosting the Indiana Pacers. This is going to be a tough game for the Nuggets. They're going to be without Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. It's questionable why Jokic was suspended for a game and Morris wasn't. Morris hit Jokic for no reason at all. Since he retaliated, he's the one who's getting in trouble.

Maybe now that he's been fined $30,000 the Heat star will stop taking action in things that he's not a part of. Butler needs to learn to keep his mouth shut sometimes and this was one of those incidents.
