The Miami Heat nearly took a commanding 3-0 series lead against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night. That finish was spoiled by Hawks superstar Trae Young who hit a floater with a few seconds remaining, giving Atlanta a one-point victory. The pressure was on the Heat in Game 4, as they do not want to go back to Miami with the series suddenly tied.

Through one half of play, the Heat were certainly playing like it. The Miami Heat did not commit a single turnover, taking a 55-41 lead into the break.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, it is the first time in Heat franchise history they have accomplished that feat. They were led by Jimmy Butler, who once again showed why he is regarded as one of the best two-way players in the NBA.

The record is even more impressive considering they are doing it without their starting point guard. Shortly before tip off, news broke that Heat point guard Kyle Lowry was unavailable for Game 4. He sustained a hamstring injury during the third quarter of the loss in Game 3.

His absence created a hole at point guard, and it allowed Victor Oladipo to finally get into a basketball game. Thus far, Oladipo is scoreless in eight minutes on the floor, but he holds the best plus/minus in the game at +20. It is the first time since early April that the former All-Star has been on the floor for Miami.

The Heat are looking for a strangle hold on the series heading back to Miami.
